Why did Lomov leave Chubukov house?

Lomov came to Chubukov house to propose to his daughter, Natalya for marriage. Chubukov being overwhelmed, called Natalya and left them alone so that he could propose to her. But they started arguing over the ownership of the Oxen Meadows and their argument turned into a caustic debate and Lomov's heart started palpitating. Lomov tried to calm down himself and wanted to change the topic but could not. Chubukov joined their argument and took his daughter's side and Lomov, feeling il decided to leave Chubukov house.

Natalya and Lomov were quarrelling over which of their dogs is the better hound. Finally, Lomov's heart could not take it anymore and he fainted. Panic-stricken Chubukov poured water into Lomov's mouth and he regained his senses. 

After regaining his consciousness, Chubukov forced Lomov and Natalya to get married and without proposing her, they got engaged. In this way, the marriage between Lomov and Natalya was accomplished and Chubukov celebrated their marriage with some champagne.
